The Perfect Home Pedicure

This pedicure will leave your feet looking perfectly pretty and feeling silky smooth. It is the next best thing to the salon.
It had been a while since I have given myself a pedicure. I remember my daughter bringing home a jar of coconut oil mixed with sugar, which was to be used as a foot scrub. We’re going back a lot of years, but I remember how smooth my feet felt after using it. I still had my Margaret Dabbs foot file (which is the best one I have ever tried,) but I did not have much dry skin, and today I braved a trip down the non-essential aisle at the grocery store and happened upon a beautiful shade!
I am missing the salon, but have come up with a perfect home pedicure.
Steps
- Gently exfoliate using a foot file (like Margaret Dabbs)
- Make a scrub by mixing coconut oil and sugar
- Massage scrub into feet
- Soak feet in warm water
- Push back cuticles
- Pat dry
- File nails
- Apply base coat, polish (love this shade by L’Oreal- 114 Nude Demoiselle- you can hopefully purchase it here in the near future,) and top coat
- Let dry
- Massage coconut lotion (like Desert Essence) into feet
Self-care is so important especially during times like these.
Now I just need a solution to this hair of mine.

I had the chance to try this out on my husband and daughter. They were both enthusiastic about it. The massage with the sugared coconut oil was delightful and it left their feet feeling silky soft!
I’m so glad your husband and daughter liked their pedicures!!! xox
